2004 Dripping Springs
Home Up

Dripping Springs is an area about 15 miles to the east of Las Cruces in the Organ Mountains.  In the 1880s, a resort hotel was built here to so that patrons could take advantage of the supposed healing properties of the natural springs in the area.  Today, all that is left is ruins.  Reaching the area of the springs makes for a decent afternoon hike.  We had done this hike as a group back in 2000, and this is the first time since then that anyone from our group has been back.
