El Patio is a bar located on the square in La
Mesilla, the historic square and village just outside of Las Cruces.
Students from the various university teams like to end up there on their last
night in Las Cruces (and their fourth, third, second, and first nights in town
as well!)

| In case you hadn't seen one before, this
is a McDonald's, and it was located across the street from our hotel.
Why is it included on the El Patio page? Because several students
stopped here after returning from El Patio for a late-night snack. |
Because only the drive-through was open
at this hour, everyone had to pretend to be a car. |
