The first few years we went to Las Cruces, we stayed at a hotel with an indoor pool (Comfort Suites).  The last two years we stayed at less expensive motels (Super 8 and Motel 6) that didn't have pools (or much of anything else, including linens!).  This year we decided to splurge a bit and stay at a hotel we had not stayed at before (a Best Western) which gave WERC participants a discount, had an outdoor pool, and had a free hot breakfast every day.
