This team proposed a method to remove hydrogen peroxide and ammonia from semiconductor processing waste streams.  Their approach involved removing the peroxide by passing the stream over activated carbon, while the ammonia was removed by electrolysis.  The latter resulted in the production of hydrogen gas, which could be used in a fuel cell to make electricity which could then provide power back to the process.
