The routes followed for our 2008 trip.  I-17 north from Phoenix to Arizona 179 to Sedona, then Arizona 89A to Flagstaff.  I-40 west to Williams followed by Arizona 64 north to Tusayan and the Grand Canyon.  Then 64 back south to I-40 at Williams, 40 east to Holbrook, then Arizona 77 south to Show Low, where we spent our second night.  Then it was U.S. 60 east to Socorro and I-25 south to Las Cruces.  Returning at the end of the week, it was I-10 west all the way back to Phoenix.
